Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians) with various tasks as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including heavy lifting (up to 50+ lbs).
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Certification: OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety Certification is highly desirable.
