Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, excavation, and material handling at construction sites
- Operate power tools including jackhammers, saws, and drills under supervision
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to prevent hazards
- Participate in daily site briefings and progress meetings
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
