Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and cleaning work areas.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and material handling.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and safety plans.
- Ensure all work areas comply with OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Transport materials to and from job sites using company vehicles or hand trucks.
- Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying heavy materials for extended periods.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if necessary.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
