Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Install/assemble structural components following blueprints and safety protocols
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance
- Monitor inventory levels and report supply shortages to supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA standards and maintain clean, hazard-free work zones
- Collaborate with skilled tradesmen to ensure seamless project execution
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Class B CDL license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme temperatures
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, welders)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Basic blueprint reading skills
