Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites through material staging, site cleaning, and equipment setup
- Load/unload construction materials using forklifts, hand trucks, and manual techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company protocols
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and operating machinery
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Strong work ethic with punctual attendance record
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Experience with power tools or heavy machinery preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
