Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific guidelines
- Assist skilled tradespeople with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and proper waste disposal
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with certification
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience or equivalent training
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Class B driver's license or CDL preferred
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Basic math proficiency for material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC boroughs
