Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Operate basic heavy machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by cleaning debris and following safety protocols.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials for construction projects.
- Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Support project managers with logistics and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License is a plus.
