Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials from delivery trucks and organize them at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and hazards.
- Operate basic hand and power tools, including drills, saws, and levels.
- Follow all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with layout preparations.
- Support project supervisors with daily task assignments and reporting.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting, standing, and walking for long periods.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
