Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials at the job site efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and according to guidelines.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and trenching.
- Follow strict safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA preferred).
- Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team.
