Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and moving materials.
- Operate heavy machinery and tools safely, including forklifts, jackhammers, and cement mixers.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, such as framing, roofing, and drywall installation.
- Ensure the construction site is clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans to understand job requirements.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a construction laborer or general laborer is preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM) with a positive attitude.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills quickly.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
