Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, excavators) with proper safety protocols
- Construct/repair structures following blueprints and specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work environments and manage waste disposal
- Adhere to OSHA standards and project-specific safety requirements
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, masons) as needed
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical and background check
