Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment at the job site.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic machinery and hand tools under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the night shift.
- Assistance: Help skilled laborers with various tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and general carpentry support.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory; we value attitude and work ethic.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work overnight shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Safety Conscious: Must be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) including steel-toed boots and hard hats.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
