Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily site tasks.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under direct supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site, strictly adhering to OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and hauling materials.
- Signal operators of heavy machinery to aid in material placement and site preparation.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to storage after use.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Sacramento, CA.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
