Your Role:
As a Weekend Construction Laborer, you will support our skilled tradespeople in various phases of construction projects, from site preparation to cleanup.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and staging of construction materials and tools.
- Operate basic power tools and hand tools under supervision.
- Perform site preparation tasks, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project efficiency.
- Help with general cleanup and maintaining a tidy worksite.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Willingness to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Oakland.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
