Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (concrete, lumber, tools)
- Operate hand/power tools safely: saws, drills, jackhammers, and demolition equipment
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, cleanup, and hazard removal
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety instructions
- Maintain organized tool/material inventory and job site safety protocols
- Load/unift construction vehicles and equipment efficiently
- Assist in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and site fencing
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license (required for equipment operation)
- Basic construction tool knowledge (hammers, saws, levels)
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training available)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Wichita metro
- Flexible schedule availability (4am-6pm shifts)
- Drug-free workplace compliance (pre-employment screening required)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
