Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist carpenters and masons with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using hand trucks or dollies
- Participate in daily team briefings and project updates
- Adhere to OSHA and local construction regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related labor experience
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
