Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools including jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with tasks
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret construction plans
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical labor in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across El Paso County
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
