Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials to and from the job site safely and efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under the supervision of skilled tradesmen.
- Assistance: Provide direct support to carpenters, electricians, and general labor crews as needed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Measurements: Assist in taking basic measurements and ensuring materials match specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform strenuous physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as required.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a commitment to showing up on time.
