Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site preparation tasks
- Operate hand/power tools and construction equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with project execution
- Maintain clean and organized job sites according to OSHA standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
