Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics with precision
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and Chicago municipal codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors
- Mentor junior electricians and ensure safety protocols
- Respond to emergency service calls 24/7 on rotational basis
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in conduit bending, circuit installation, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of Chicago electrical codes and permitting
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
