Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and control systems in commercial and residential properties.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical faults to ensure system reliability.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project goals and timelines are met.
- Document all work performed and maintain accurate job records.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license required (Apprentices accepted with journeyman supervision).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
