Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and clients to project timelines and specifications
- Ensure strict adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Lead junior electricians and apprentices in complex projects
- Manage inventory and order electrical materials for assigned projects
Qualifications
- Valid Florida State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 5 years of verifiable commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proven expertise with conduit bending, motor controls, and VFD systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical systems
- Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends for emergency calls
- Experience with Miami-Dade County permitting processes
