Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment
- Ensure strict compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations
- Lead weekend project teams and coordinate with subcontractors
- Perform preventative maintenance on high-voltage systems
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Valid New Mexico Journeyman Electrician License (mandatory)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on electrical experience
- Expertise in troubleshooting complex electrical systems
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC, IBC, and local building codes
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Experience with commercial/industrial electrical systems
