Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and compressors, following all safety protocols.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Blueprint Compliance: Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to ensure work meets project specifications.
- Safety Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to OSHA standards.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with foremen and other tradespeople to complete projects on time.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work Night Shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a full-time basis.
- Experience: Prior experience in general construction labor is preferred but not required; training provided.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
