Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing emergencies including burst pipes, clogged drains, and water heater malfunctions
- Install and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in residential/commercial properties
- Perform preventative maintenance inspections to identify potential issues
- Collaborate with dispatch team for rapid emergency response across NYC boroughs
- Ensure compliance with NYC building codes and safety regulations
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex plumbing systems
- Provide clear communication and documentation for service reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional plumbing experience
- Valid New York State plumbing license
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency in trenchless pipe repair and water jetting systems
- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred
