Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and unloading construction materials
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, levels, etc.)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to strict safety protocols
- Assist in site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and dependability
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards (OSHA training provided)
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively in teams
- Comfortable with early morning start times (5:30 AM - 2:30 PM shifts)
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
