Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling and equipment operation
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload trucks and organize tools/materials efficiently
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the project
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
- Perform basic trenching, excavation, and concrete finishing tasks
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision
- Complete daily progress reports and time logs accurately
Qualifications
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
