Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and control systems according to NEC and local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan project layouts.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and diagnostic work on electrical panels and circuits.
- Ensure all work sites adhere to OSHA safety regulations and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and junior staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Estimate material and labor costs for electrical projects and procure necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical theory, power distribution, and circuitry.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and heights.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and diagnostic software.
