Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site prep, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively under supervision
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project plans
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance and workplace safety standards
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and demolition tasks as needed
- Assist in equipment operation (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Document daily progress and material usage accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Flexibility to work 6-8 hour weekend shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
