Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assisting Trades: Provide support to skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and concrete finishers.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and machinery (e.g., forklifts, jackhammers) under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site by sweeping, picking up trash, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic construction safety standards (OSHA guidelines) is preferred.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work well within a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
