Responsibilities
- Perform general construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and trenching
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Complete daily equipment maintenance checks
- Adhere to project timelines and supervisor instructions
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic tool knowledge (hand tools preferred)
- Willingness to work weekends and varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
