Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, or basic carpentry.
- Operate heavy machinery and equipment (forklifts, skid steers) under strict safety supervision.
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and waste disposal.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from site supervisors to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required; willingness to learn is key.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the Oakland worksite.
- Basic ability to read and follow verbal instructions.
