Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and laying groundwork.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools safely and efficiently.
- Assisting Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers by providing necessary manpower and assistance.
- Equipment Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and basic heavy machinery under supervision.
- Quality Control: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and adhere to safety protocols.
- Demolition: Assist in demolition tasks to prepare sites for new construction.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Physical Fitness: Must be physically capable of lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a regular basis.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Safety: Basic understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage.
- Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with the team.
