Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to job sites efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate power tools, forklifts, and other heavy machinery as required by the foreman.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites, including excavation, leveling, and debris removal.
- Framing & Assembly: Support the framing team with basic carpentry tasks and structural assembly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards throughout the shift.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor for 8-10 hours a day, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Valid License: Possession of a valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience in general construction or labor work is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with hand and power tools is a plus.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
