Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled tradespersons with material preparation and site setup
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout the shift
- Operate hand/power tools and machinery under supervision
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
- Complete accurate time sheets and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous activities
- Valid California Driver's License (preferred but not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Oakland
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (training provided)
