Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems with precision and adherence to NEC standards
- Diagnose electrical faults using advanced testing equipment and troubleshooting methodologies
- Inspect existing wiring, circuits, and components to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers to execute weekend shift schedules efficiently
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professional appearance and communication
- Document all work activities, materials used, and safety protocols followed
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper tool management
Qualifications
- Valid California Electrician Journeyman License (required)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential/commercial settings
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, voltage testers, circuit locators)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 8-12 hours per day)
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Long Beach metro area
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and safety compliance
