Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup on commercial/residential projects
- Operate hand/power tools and light machinery safely under supervisor guidance
- Follow blueprints and instructions to prepare construction sites
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople to support project timelines
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- 1+ years of construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10 certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
