Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks during night shifts
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (jackhammers, saws, drills)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and skilled tradesmen with project-specific tasks
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Perform equipment maintenance checks and report hazards immediately
- Load/un construction materials and ensure proper site security protocols
- Collaborate with crew members to meet daily project milestones
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor or site experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Boston metro area
- Flexible availability for consistent night shift schedules (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
