Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, and grading operations
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Support skilled trades with material handling and basic construction tasks
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid California Driver's License required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction Certification a plus
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions (heat, rain, noise)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurements
