Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with wiring, installations, and repairs under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Safely operate hand/power tools and electrical testing equipment
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety protocols
- Prepare job sites, organize materials, and maintain clean work areas
- Document work progress and maintain project records
- Participate in ongoing skills development and certification programs
Qualifications
- No prior electrical experience required – training provided
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights/laterally
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Willingness to obtain Arizona Electrician Trainee certification
