Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to safety protocols
- Load/unload equipment and materials using forklifts or manual methods
- Perform demolition, excavation, and grading tasks as directed
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Assist in concrete pouring and finishing operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Baltimore metro area
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
