Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand/power tools, and site cleanup
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, equipment operation, and project preparation
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Operate construction equipment like jackhammers, saws, and compactors under supervision
- Participate in daily team briefings and project progress meetings
- Complete daily timecards and equipment maintenance logs accurately
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials handling
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Atlanta metro area
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
