Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials to the correct locations on-site.
- Assist Tradespeople: Support carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with various tasks as directed by the foreman.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and tools, such as saws, drills, and compressors, after receiving proper instruction.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Quality Control: Help ensure work meets project specifications and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills are essential.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions precisely and pay attention to safety details.
