Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting materials (up to 50 lbs), and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled trades with site preparation, concrete work, and framing
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow instructions from site supervisors
- Operate light machinery (concrete mixers, saws) with proper training
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
- Complete daily timecards accurately for same-day payment processing
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic tool handling experience (hammers, saws, drills)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Physical stamina to work 8-10 hour days in outdoor conditions
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Must provide own basic PPE (steel-toed boots, work gloves)
