Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installations.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure electrical systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical problems and implement effective solutions on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding project status.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification (e.g., Local 3, NJATC) required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and circuitry.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (if applicable).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
