Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including material handling, site preparation, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervisor guidance
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Assist skilled tradespersons with layout, framing, and finishing tasks
- Complete daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow blueprints and project specifications accurately
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to project milestones
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Minimum 6 months construction or related experience
- Strong work ethic and punctuality required
- Willingness to travel within Houston metro area
