Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Prepare job sites by gathering materials, tools, and safety equipment before the workday begins.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams under supervision.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical components to ensure compliance with local and national codes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while strictly adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project requirements and progress.
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues to help resolve customer problems efficiently.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or currently enrolled).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and advance into a Journeyman position.
