Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and store them in an organized manner.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks.
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the job site to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and site plans.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual digging as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly throughout the day.
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not mandatory.
