We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, physically fit, and ready to contribute to large-scale construction projects across the Denver metro area.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, grading the ground, and setting up temporary barriers.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, such as saws, drills, and compressors, and handle hand tools with precision and care.
- Assembly: Help assemble and dismantle structures, including scaffolding, frames, and forms under the guidance of foremen.
- Support Trades: Provide support to carpenters, masons, and electricians by carrying materials, mixing concrete, or performing basic setup tasks.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and site-specific protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area, removing waste and ensuring tools are stored properly after use.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to perform heavy physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for site access.
- Communication: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and foremen.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work full-time hours.
- Teamwork: Strong ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team of tradespeople.
- Math Skills: Basic understanding of measurements and math is a plus for material estimation tasks.
