Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman and foremen with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Demolish structures and prepare sites for new construction projects.
- Transport heavy materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with basic carpentry or concrete pouring.
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience is required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong desire to learn and advance within the skilled trades industry.
